Australia re-pivots to a core Indo-Pacific

The Defence Strategic Update sets out the Government’s new defence strategy, which has three core objectives: to shape Australia’s strategic environment; deter actions against Australia’s interests; and respond with credible military force, when required. The Force Structure Plan sets out current and future Defence capability investments to ensure Australia can continue to deliver a potent, agile, affordable, and sustainable Defence Force in line with the Government’s strategy.
